Summary: Collegiate defensive end and converted tight end with enough athletic ability and intensity to warrant consideration as a developmental 3-4 strong-side linebacker.

NFL projection: Priority free agent.

A ittle blurb from the pro day coverage:
Quote:
Suaesi Tuimaunei and Gabe Miller jumped out at the scouts with their numbers. They may have earned late-round draft placement.

Miller benched 225 pounds 33 times, the most of any OSU player, and ran a 4.6. He came in at 250 pounds. The scouts talked with him about dropping weight and bulking up, and he felt he could do either.

After running, the players did position drills. Miller worked out at tight end, linebacker and defensive end. His versatility was of interest.

"I feel good about my numbers, and the scouts liked them to," Miller said. "I can gain weight to get stronger and drop weight to get faster."

Gabe "Colin Brown" Miller.

This one leaves a bitter taste. I honestly could have seen the rationale for a RB or TE here.

What are you doing with Sheffield now?

I don't get the pick, but 5th round falls into the "whatever" category for me.

Listening to the ESPN staff talk about the wide recievers makes me wonder if any of them remember Todd Haley OCing in Arizona with Boldin, Fitzgerald and Breaston. I get the idea of wanting a complimentary guy like Titus Young, but you need to get your Fitzgerald to go with your Boldin before you get your Breaston.

Fellas, it's the 5th round. 6'3, 260lb., ran a 4.62 and threw up 33 reps. He'll compete. CLEARLY Powe is an absolute turd, stop crying that every team in the league is ignoring his worthless fat ass.
