Interesting. I'll admit I hated the Haith hire like the majority of Mizzou fans but he's already showing more on the recruiting trail than Anderson ever did. Maybe it wasn't as much of a desperation hire as I thought. Putting a little more faith in Haith. Good get for his first recruit. Now let's just hope this leads to Purvis next year.

Ish Wainwright was also on the visit with Coger, and his Facebook status after the visit is simply "MIZZOU!"

Would be awesome if we nailed down two top 50 kids for 2013 in one weekend.

Coger is an amazing get for this program, but the Purvis connection is exciting....

To put this in full perspective, the top recruit suitcase mike signed that actually made it to campus in his entire tenure was Pressey, 42 overall.

I'm starting to believe a little in Haith. I almost threw up when he was announced as the hire, but the staff he put together is impressive - and showing strong results on the recruiting trail.

Coger lives with Purvis. They are like brothers. I think this bodes well for Missouri's chances with Purvis. Sounds like Ish Wainright is close to making the call for Mizzou, too. That would be a huge recruiting weekend.

Now Haith just needs to figure out something for 2011 and 2012. We probably have at least two spots to fill for 2011, and SO many for 2012.

Haith has ALWAYS been an outstanding recruiter. He then hired another outstanding recruiter. These guys may or may not be able to coach, but NO Mizzou fan should have been upset with the hire from a recruiting standpoint.
