I'm not wrong. It's a matter of them needing a dominant CB. And with the way Baltimore runs their defense, they don't need a great CB. It's a luxury if they bring in anybody that is above average. And I'm not saying there's no way they target Nnamdi, but that it would be a surprise considering that he's not the type of player they would go after.

Sources say the Ravens will try to sign Derrick Mason and Todd Heap, both cut today, to cheaper contracts.

Nevermind ALL the cap space talk. Probably making room for Yanda's new contract, and McClain and maybe another FA.

I think they'll certainly try to re-sign Heap, Mason and Yanda. I doubt they are going to give a fullback big money when there's a lot of them out there to choose from.

I think the Ravens are going to get Nnamdi, let him mentor Jimmy Smith.

Let's be real here, the Ravens are on their last legs for a playoff run. Reed is old, Lewis is acient but awesome, the receivers are all old.

They ditched McGahee, so they are in need of the 2, of a successfull 1-2 punch. The guy wants more carries, and with clearing out McGahee, I think they are willing to give them to him. Not to metion McClain said he is fine still blocking, b/c he loves contact, just would like to showcase his running ability also, and would prefer to stay in BAL.

I disagree, they just drafted two young promising receivers, have TE's behind Heap, a talented young OL, a talented young QB. If you have the QB you always have a shot. Their biggest need for rebuild is on D, but I don't think their in dire need there either. Maybe they want to win one before Ray Ray retires.

They could sign whoever they want on offense. When Lewis and Reed are done, so is their run.
