Belcher had 11 tackles and 2 sacks against Baltimore.

If we are looking to get guys that can help us win games against teams like Baltimore in the playoffs, we need significant upgrades to the trenches before all else.

Also, what I saw against Baltimore was Jon McGraw getting ate up.

Every time he got on the field, he was targeted.

I kept saying it over and over while at the game, I guarantee everyone that sat anywhere near me knew it too.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing in Eric Weddle if the price is right.

We can either ignore the LB position, and HOPE that Belcher and Studebaker aren't liabilities, or they can actually, you know, try to improve the team.

I would hope that we're looking to improve the team at nearly every position.

With all due respect, if you cant see a star in the making (similar to Carr a year or so ago) in Belcher....you aren't looking close enough/dont know what to look for.

He is a small school kid that had no problems with ANYTHING but processing information.

Same as Brandon Carr.

Small school kids that start early see things every game they have never seen before and once they see it again and again, thats the test of how much they can grow and I can tell you with absolute certainty that Romeo thinks Belcher "gets it"

He was from Maine, those type of things are to be expected in transition.

Another year in the system and with better talent in front of him and he can literally be a probowl quality player in the making.

Sorry I am just not that impressed with Belcher. He would be a good backup\ST but he just doesn't seem like he will become a dominating ILB.

you really think so? He seemed to get lost and take himself out of play all too often last season. Shedding blocks seemed to be an issue as well.
