I mean, if there wasn't risk involved, he wouldn't have been available in the first place. In other words, they're gambling on this move, and it may pay off. Or it may not.

I don't like this move nearly as much as I liked Dillon or Moss, but that doesn't mean it can't work.

Not just because, but it's definitely a factor.

There wasn't a single rumor that we were interested, and he went to ****ing Buffalo.

I'm guessing he didn't draw as much interest as we all thought, or teams lowballed him.

I would have liked to see KC take a run at Clabo but i never expected it.

Pioli won't go after Falcons FA's and get into a possible bidding war when Dimitroff is the GM. Not just because of their friendship but they share plenty of scouting info like they do with the Pats, Phins(maybe to a lesser extent now that Parcells is gone) and somewhat the Ravens in that Pioli is also close to Newsome.

It's not that i agree with that sort of thing i just accept that's how he operates. It was obvious in year #1 w/Pioli when he said out of respect for BB he wouldn't try to sign FB Heath Evans if he knew the pats were trying to resign him.
