Pretty much. It's a good signing--one that Chiefs fans should be pleased with, at least.

Yeah, but "OK" isn't good enough, IMO.

Wouldn't be difficult to upgrade at RT and make Richardson your swing tackle.

Not like we don't have the money.

Looking like Gaither is the best option available, followed by Charlie Johnson of Indy - though I don't expect Indy to let him get away.

After that, not good.

As OTWP said, solid signing. The Rams won't over pay for a FA, they get solid guys who are going into their 2nd contract.

Breaston isn't being brought in to score touchdowns. We already have two guys who can do that.

Ryan Harris is probably the best that's out there. Could play both T spots and G too.

He was the best slot option available considering Santana Moss re-signed with Washington, and Steve Smith of the Giants is coming off an injury.

I thought Gaither had agreed to a deal elsewhere. Huh. I'd definitely be on board with that move.

Darren Sproles narrows list to Saints, Eagles, Chargers

We wondered aloud last night why we hadn’t heard anything about Darren Sproles.

He probably was waiting for Miami to make a move at running back. With Reggie Bush in place there, Sproles is nearing a decision according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Sproles has narrowed his three choices to the Eagles, Saints, and Chargers. Philadelphia makes a lot of sense, but it shows that Sproles is being viewed as a clear backup.

The Saints and Chargers are more surprising. Sproles could replace Reggie Bush, but the team already has Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas, and Chris Ivory under contract. We expected Sproles to leave San Diego, but it doesn’t appear great offers are out there.

It makes us wonder if it was really necessary for Chargers G.M. A.J. Smith needed to use the franchise tag on Sproles the last two years.

Ryan Harris is quite a bit behind Gaither and Johnson.

He'd still be an upgrade over Richardson, however.

Yeah forgot about Gaither. I'd take him over Harris. I agree Indy won't let Johnson get away. I'd take him if they did.

Think there has been chatter with Gaither and Oakland with Hugh Jackson having been with him in B more.
