Yeah, I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

I've never understood why this organization has to be so secretive. It's ****ing football, not ****ing SIS or Mi6.

There is no blueprint - they lucked their ass into Brady. I'm not saying the Pacrells/Bellicheck model doesn't work to build a team bc it does but the dyntasy was made by Brady.

Per NFLN, Dolphins are saying Orton trade "is dead."

Apparently Orton and Tebow won't even talk to each other.

Bullshit. They drafted him, and then stuck with him over Bledsoe when the team was winning with him. At the time Brady didn't look "superstar awesome". But the team was winning, and they hadn't been with Bledsoe. Schottenheimer would have put Grbac back in. It's not luck.

I might have missed this earlier, but Michelle Beisner of NFLN is reporting that Orton has claimed, "I'm not here to mentor Tim Tebow."

And yes, I've been a fan since the late 70s. I don't remember the Ben Dreith incident, or '78 really, but I do remember Ron Ehrhardt (sp?) and Ron Meyer. 1-15 and 2-14 seasons. Dick MacPherson and Zeke Mowatt and Victor Kiam and Hugh Millen / Chuck Sullivan and hosting the Michael Jackson tour. I remember going to the Super Bowl in '85 after Squishing the Fish only to be blown out by the Bears in the most lopsided SB ever, and then having three key defensive players hurt in the SAME f'n preseason game the next year, guaranteeing that the team would be mediocre.

Kenneth Sims and Irving Fryar's finger. Orthwein and the move to St. Louis, and Kraft saving the team. Parcells' trying to get the HC of the NYJ (as BB would say) job BEFORE THE F'N SUPERBOWL with the Packers. Parcells stealing Curtis Martin.

Sam Bam and Mosi's Mooses. Nelson and Tippett and Hannah and Don Hasselback (father of Matt), and Hayes and Haynes. Grogs and brokedick Tony Eason.

Sitting on frozen crappy aluminum benches in December.

Yeah, I've been through it all for 30 years.

These are good times. They won't last forever. The 80s Celtics taught me that. Enjoy them while they last. It's just so freaking great to KNOW that your HC/front office knows WTF they are doing.

That is really awesome and an inspiration to all true fans. Although I can't even comprehend what it would be like to cheer from a city like Boston who has won in so many sports, it is awesome you are not a bandwagon fan, but someone who has stuck by their team through thick and thin.
BB is prob one of the biggest geniuses in history of NFL and you have to respect that. From draft picks to trades, his acquisitions are something fan dreams are made of.
I can't wait for the Chiefs to turn this team in to a contender year after year.
Congrats to you my friend, I salute you and raise my glass to you.
