Don't buy it for one minute.

They are talking to Franklin and McClain. They may not upgrade the OL or ILB, but they are upgrading with outside pieces.

BB is prob one of the biggest geniuses in history of NFL and you have to respect that. From draft picks to trades, his acquisitions are something fan dreams are made of.

I'm a few years younger than Amnorix, I think, but his post is pretty spot-on. First game I attended was early 80s. The Browns broke Grogan's leg, and there were few fans in the metal bowl that was Schaefer/Sullivan Stadium. Sportcasters dubbed Patriot/Colt meetings "toilet bowls". Dolphins dominated. First SB appearance was a magical run of three road wins (never done before '85), culminating in a historic beatdown by the Bears. Then the Bills dominated. Second SB appearance with the vaunted Tuna and golden boy Bledsoe a decade later, culminating in another painful loss and watching Brett ****ing Favre get a ring. From 1978 to 1985 they sucked. From 1986-1995 they sucked. From 1996-2000 they muddled along. Like Amnorix I'm enjoying the ride, because Belichick won't coach forever and Brady won't play forever.

resigning our own guys then why did the two veterans Shaun Smith and Ron Edwards go to different teams and our D-line now hinges on two rookies and a big Tyson Jackson improvement for us to compete with a 1st place schedule?

Why is Brandon Carr still not signed? He should have been signed yesterday if it was such a "priority"

Derrick Harvey, Vince Manuwai get the boot from Jaguars

One of the worst NFL trades of the last five years looks even worse Friday morning.

The Jaguars cut former No. 8 overall pick Derrick Harvey, just three years after the Jaguars gave up four draft picks to move up to get him. (They dealt the No. 26 pick, two third-rounders, and a fourth-round pick.)

That trade doomed former Jaguars G.M. Shack Harris, and the organization has spent a while recovering from it. We guessed Harvey might get cut and the team clearly couldn’t find anyone willing to make a trade.

Guard Vince Manuwai also got cut, according to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union.

The releases will help clear room for safety Dawan Landry, who is expected to sign Friday. We’ve seen that Landry was “close” to signing in Jacksonville for days now, so we’ll let you know when it actually happens.
