How about it's reasonable for us to have our shit together and take advantage of a shitty league? Yeah, our schedule is tough. But the Broncos are a ****ing joke. The Raiders are the...Raiders, and the only legit team is SD. The bar is really ****ing high.
You're being a drama queen.

But if you want to take the posts of a few and paint most the board then I can't stop you. It is just funny watching you and others go out of your way to be offended.

I'd suggest looking up the definition of martyr.

The last paragraph is complete bullshit, because I haven't been overtly critical of any of the teams moves thus far. Releasing the ball grabber was a mistake, IMO, but not a terrible one, should we make the proper moves to replace him.

Everything else? It's been pretty cool.

There's plenty of time still for Pioli to have one ****ing hell of an off-season.

But yeah 3-4 DE's aren't that hard to find imo. 3-4 DE's can be found in mid to late rounds.
Good, we'll get some in the draft before the season starts!

Oh, I say mythical because I don't see anybody actually saying any of that stuff right now. We're talking about how lame today has been and all of a sudden you're slamming on people who don't appear to currently be part of the discussion. And if they were, why should we even care? They're morons.

I mean, does it make you or me or anybody else look bad because some other idiot doesn't have the same expectations that we do? Are they limiting our fandom by proxy or something? Is the nationwide aura of Chiefs fans somehow negatively impacted because some mouth breather has access to a keyboard? Do we need to start wearing paper bags when we go out? What's the actual real world impact of drooling True Fans?

I say ignore them. Bringing them up all the time just empowers them. It's like they've gotten under your skin. Treat them like they're not even worthy of notice.

I don't think that's most of the board. Not at all.

Most fall in the middle, with the vast majority of posters being more akin to casual fans. Nothing wrong with that.

Vonta Leach - RB - Texans The Broncos are reportedly trying to sign free agent FB Vonta Leach.
Leach is the best lead-blocker in football, and the Broncos could use him in John Fox's conservative, run-first scheme. Denver's current starter is special teamer Spencer Larsen. Leach has also drawn interest from Baltimore and Dallas. Related: Broncos

I totally agree with your definition, then, and would be dumb as **** to argue this post. This was well said.

I disagree b/c I'm hopeful and all the evidence up to this point says otherwise. I think they're signings reflect the need for camp bodies, we're nowhere near 90, and Bannon is taking every snap at FB. Not good for injuries and not good from a competition standpoint. Also special teams help.

They may be working on the particulars of the contracts and are in no hurry b/c they'd rather their own seem to be the priority.

Wow, project much?

You're a good dude, and I'm glad I've gotten the chance to meet you, but your "rage/putting yourself on the cross/heroes" schtick is tired.

Hard to take someone seriously when they've never made an intelligent contribution to football talk in their time here, and choose just to tread on the outskirts and flame people who have an opinion from a distance.

Nobody's raging, and no one is offended.

Feel free to join the conversation and add something intelligent to it instead of fueling it with your passive-aggressive horseshit.

I hope I'm wrong, but 3 days into FA, it's not looking that way.
It's not even 6 hours into free agency, and very few people have been signed.

Chiefs re-signed TE Leonard Pope.
Pope, 28 in September, made news this offseason for saving a 6-year-old boy from drowning at a pool party. Unfortunately, he's not a very good player. Pope caught 10 passes for just 76 yards in 16 games last season, also grading out very poorly as a blocker per Pro Football Focus. He'll try to win a backup job behind emerging second-year tight end Tony Moeaki.

Hell yeah. Already worth the price of admission. Now we're movin'!
