Yes, those WR upgrades were really minimal. Jon Baldwin, Steve Breaston get a slight edge over Chris Chambers, Kevin Curtis.

I'm thrilled we got Gregg, but not thrilled we're depending on a 35 year old backup to now be our 1st team anchor on the line. And you've used the demand for the likes of Franklin as justification for the Chiefs apparent lack of interest, but now our backup is a 6th round under-performing player. A player who was overlooked for almost six rounds, despite the desperate need for NT's in the league right now. I don't think there are any lineman left who we can really count on to provide meaningful contribution at that position, as even the 2nd/3rd tier guys like Hoke are off the board.

There's a chance we have based on the draft class, and the maturity of the draft class last year.

The SB contenders have turned into that by upgrading in the draft.

A solid RT, ILB, OLB, some DE depth and a RB2, and I'm thinking at least one playoff win, maybe two. Who knows from there.

Instead we're hoping that some marginally talented young players take the next step, instead of upgrading those positions.

Is what it is. Some of us expected Clark to go cheap as soon as we found out the cap floor didn't have to be met. Disappointing, but not a huge shock.

I think we differ on what we view as a SB contender. Could we win a playoff game or 2 with this team? I think so. Is there a chance we play in February? I highly doubt htat.

I think Leonard Davis could be a solid RT still, but that's highly debatable.

Part of the benefit of drafting well consistently is that you have cheap talent throughout your roster. This should leave some money available to cherry pick some vet free agents, while other teams are maxed out because they've had to sign too many vets making vet money. It's a competitive advantage I'm not sure we took advantage of in this case. We'll see.
