So, I wake up this morning turn on the NFLN that has the replay of the Browns-Eagles.

It's late in the game, Eagles up 24-0 the Browns score a TD, and Andy Reid throws a red flag for a challenge.

Apparently, since TDs are automatically reviewed now, if the coach throws out a challenge flag, an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty will be assesed, and they will not review the play at all.

Ridiculous.

I'll be darn. I always thought whoever won the toss had the option to recieve, kick, defend a particular goal... or defer their option to the 2nd half.

Then at the start of the 2nd half the team the team that didn't get the choice in the 1st half gets to chose from the 1st three options.

Learn something everyday.
