Also, I don't think it is enough to say "make any comments you want, just clearly label them as rumor." It doesn't make Amy difference if its rumor or not, really, rumor-mongering still has real consequences. We should be damn sure there is a solid foundation before we pass along this kind of character assassination material.

The hardest thing in the whole world to repair is a damaged reputation. The harm is irrevokable. If you respect the truth and would want someone else to give you the same deference, you think long before posting it somewhere that thousands of people are going to see it. I don't know if there is possible legal liability associate or not, but... In all seriousness, I don't think it is right to spread this kind of gossip when it could seriously damage someone's career and family, when there is no basis beyond secondhand rumor.
