You know who is going to be a good team this year?

The Houston Texans.

I think they are going to win the division and compete in the playoffs.

im just impressed with the amount of talent on that team. They are stacked in a lot of areas.

Schaub is definately a top 10 QB in this league. Arian Foster is one of the top runners in the league.

Andre johnson we all know about him.

Owen Daniels is a very underrated TE.

And they don't really have a good #2 WR, but Walters and Bryant Johnson are pretty solid options in the passing game.

I think Duane Brown and Eric Winston are underrated as OT's. Those guys man are a big big reason why Schaub had such a good year and the paved the way and opened up a lot of holes for Arian Foster. And Wade Smith just made the right decision going to play for the Texans.

*Their offense is going to be a top 5 offense again this year.

The defense is the issue but I think there is a lot of talent there. I think their LBing corps is pretty impressive man. Demeco Ryans, Mario Williams, Brian Cushing...Thats 3 probowlers right there. Are you kidding me? Solid Solid group. And I think Connor Barwin could be a good passrusher for them. Too bad he wasn't healthy last year? the kid will play this year.

I thought their pass defense was a weakness but they did a pretty decent job shoring it up you know? Jonathan Joseph was a pretty signing for them. Very underrated CB. And Daniel Manning should help that secondary. He is a lot better than Pollard.

I was impressed with the JJ Watt draft pick. Their defense isn't exactly there, but its going to make strides. They made some good additions on that side of the ball this year. If they could just get it up to average, which is a possibility. They were 13th in the league in rush defense last year, not too bad, if they can juuust improve that pass defense to average or slightly better. I expect them to make noise.

The talent level is pretty even on both teams but the Chargers have the QB.

Chargers>Chiefs

*This year they'll be back.

Haven't even played a game, and you're throwing in the towel. You probably thought we were going 4-12 last year too. Why is it so impossible for this team to.....wait for it....improve? The talent has been upgraded.

Nevermind. Can't change the mind of a straight up bitch. I wish I would have went to school with you. I would have looked great with your shoes on.

You should start a thread about that. Make it a poll.

I just don't see Mario Williams being able to play OLB in a 3-4. However, I don't follow the Texans so I don't know if he's made a smooth transition or not.

why can't they improve? because they are soft, they lack physicality and a real mean streak when it comes to playing football. So when they have to play the physical teams you will see an example of how the boys will not be able to compete with the men.

I think the team has a bunch of boys on it.

when push comes to shove, you'll see when the kcchiefs have to play the physical teams, they gonna get their faces kicked in. And I will laugh at everyone who cries.

So that means Cassel is on that plane? Hmmm, that's interesting. You think the league would compensate the teams?

It's going to take them at least a year to just get comfortable switching over to the 3-4 not to mention getting all the talent to play it.

Who have they all upgraded in that god awful secondary from last season to make it so much better this season? The CB from the Bengals, who else?

I just say it like it is, the team has no attitude. They lack an important characteristic that makes a success football team.

The team needs to build upon their identity.

also, to mention, they are inconsistent when it comes to executing both on offense and defense. And you know what? the players blow a lot of their assignments, they make too many mental mistakes.

They let Bernard Pollard go.

Addition by subtraction.

Daniel Manning is not a bad addition. I like connor barwin. I think the most important thing is that they improve their passrush. Williams and Barwin coming off the edge is not bad at all.
