Chiefs vs. Bills discussion thread...

Now that the preseason is over finally, the real bullets start to fly!

Who wins? What matchups can we take advantage of? How do we matchup with their offense, defense, special teams?

We must beat them. My wife's aunt is a big fan and she's as annoying as their uniforms.

Ok Bills fans, you all seem so confident. At which positions is your team stronger than ours?

Possbily, but most just get it from doctors or TRT centers in the US I believe. All you need to bloodwork (which can be manipulated) showing you are HGH or Testosterone deficient then you get a script. You can then utilize a TRT replacement center who like to prescribe supraphysiological high doses to the their clients. There are ways around all the test. Just look at all the damn cyclist that abuse EPO and never get caught or MMA guys that take stuff and rarely get caught. You can even get GH peptides from chem research centers to test on your "mice".

Sick of seeing these Bills fans keep mentioning LAST years game. Its like they dont realize that even the elite teams can and do struggle against the worst teams at home. It happens. We still won, and we still statistically kicked your ass. That being said, it means nothing for the game Sunday.

A great example of this is the Chiefs game you mentioned.
Not really. The Bills secondary has been good for quite some time, but they took a step back last year because of scheme changes...going from cover 2 (or Tampa 2) zones to more man-to-man, and an attempt to switch to a 3-4 scheme (which really didn't work and resulted in a hybrid defense).

But in 2009, the Bills had the second ranked pass defense. They also ranked 2nd in yards per attempt, so you can't use that "teams didn't need to pass on them" bullshit there. They also ranked second in TDs allowed (14) and INTs (28). They did all that with almost zero pass rush, which says a lot.

Last year, the Bills pass defense wasn't as good, like I said, but it was still halfway decent...even though we did admittedly give up twice as many passing TDs and less than half as many INTs as 2009. If you want to play man-to-man more, you really need a good pass rush, which was the difference. Zone schemes can pick up that slack of lack of a pass rush more IMO. Our pass rush was even worse than in 2009 because Aaron Schobel retired surprisingly. It was pathetic. This is the reason Merriman is vital to us. Losing our starting CB for most of the year didn't help, either.

Second year into the new system should see improvement. I'm really excited about Aaron Williams, the 35th overall pick by the Bills, who is a CB that looked very good in camp.

This.

Congrats on your moral victory, Bills fans. You almost played the Chiefs to a tie. Wow!

I'm sure it's going to be another close game on Sunday. After the Chiefs pull out the win, I encourage all Bills fans in attendance to meet me at the Lamar Hunt statue outside the stadium. I will be there patting you all on the head and handing out participation trophies for your amazing effort in supporting your team through another impressive moral victory.

Remember, you are all special winners!

Photoshopped, ask me. Look at a bigger size of the same picture as the first one. Merriman is not #97, but that's the jersey number in the picture. I can't post pics or links because you guys don't trust me yet, but it's there.

Don't forget the fact that Priest was down on the ground, when he applied the hit. It isn't like Merriman made a play or anything, dirty bastard.
