I remember when I used to think that the Chiefs starters should be good and we should compete this year.......Then we would go 4-12

You don't have to think too far back, do you?

Barnett and Merriman should be good IMO. Ardra Davis is OK, but I think Kirk Morrison should fill that spot once he gets up to speed with the team. He's pretty good. Kelvin Sheppard has talent, as does Danny Batten, who didn't play last year. Arthur Moats was the guy that ended Brett Favre's career FINALLY. Not too many people care for Chris Kelsay in Buffalo.

I'm sure most of these names mean nothing to most people. The d-line should make the LBs better this year.

While I do like Barnett, there is a reason the Packers let him go and no offense but if he ended up in Buffalo something is wrong there. I think the Bills are improved but not sure how much.

And calm down with the too far back talk

LOL, complete and utter speculation as to "something must be wrong." Nick Barnett got hurt last year and his replacement stepped up. That's why the Packers let him go. Merriman had something to do with Barnett's interest in Buffalo - same deal with Kirk Morrison, who has proven to be a solid player.

You are touchy about the "too far back" talk because it's true.

No not touchy and yea it wasn't to far back.

So you think Merriman had something to do with Barnett coming to Buffalo? Why in the world would any free agent decide to go play on a team with that guy in that division if he had any other choice?

Well, Barnett said as much, as did Morrison. Merriman kept in touch with both of them. Either they are lying, or it's true.

And not everyone hates Merriman as much as you.

I'm saying it was a factor. Some players are excited about helping to turn a team around, too.

I'm sure they do, but adding Barnett and Morrison aren't turning around anything. Merriman has had what 4 sacks in the last 3 years? Come on Man.

Merriman, Barnett and Morrison are the new big three! THREE KINGS OF BUFFALO!

It's complete and utter speculation to think that your front 7, 5 of which didn't play even close to a complete season last year, 4 of which didn't play a game for the Bills last year, will play at a high level in the first game of the year on the road.

So what? It can't be proven either way before the fact. I'm just excited about the potential, especially of the d-line.

Wait, so...

1. In order to make arguments about the Bills, the game has to be played.
2. The game has not been played.
3. Therefore, you cannot make arguments about the Bills.

Got it.

I remember a certain team with that record about 7 months ago, but an orange and blue haze is clouding me seeing any further.
