that is actually a good point. He needs to play himself off the field, which he should have already done. But Pioli obviously isn't willing to admit he was wrong yet. This will be a good test for Pioli as well, if Pioli is like one of those guys and Cassel is still starting 3 years from now with nothing to show for it then Pioli will need to get his ass out.

Forget 3 years. May mercy fall on us that its nothing more than this one. This is the year for Pioli. If he can't admit his mistake this offseason I don't think there is much hope. I like the direction we have taken, despite the draft mistakes. There is no excuse for him to not give Stanzi a chance later this season, or at the VERY least, fix his mistake this offseason.
