I kind of want a big name over an upcoming assistant because the assistants wont have as good of a staff they can bring in.

And the thing about a college coach(aside from the fact that the NFL is starting to play more and more like college football) is that they can just bring their entire staff and hit the ground running

Cowher and Gruden a big no. No coach has ever won a SB with two different teams. Ferentz is not leaving Iowa unless the program takes a big spill. The biggest problem with the Haley hire was that Hunt made Pioli think about it for awhile which closed the window for asst. coaches. The staff we had in Haley's first year was piss poor. Pioli needs to make his decisions quicker and stand by them.
