It seems fine for me right now, but I guess one option is to bump the time between posts up a bit if it gets bad for everyone... they seemed to enjoy it yesterday afternoon when I set it to 3 minutes.

Yeah, it's been fine 99% of the time, but every once in a while a query will get stuck that bogs us down for a minute or two. Not sure why it's so variable, but whatever.
