See, I think that Cassel is better than Orton. I know that many on here disagree.

I think it will be interesting to see how Orton does with the same talent.

I don't see how this helps win many, if any, games. The team was doing poorly with Cassel who knew the offense. Now, Orton is supposed to come in and do, what, keep them from going 4-12?

I don't see him starting for at least one but maybe two games. The Chiefs are not like the other teams in playoff contention who lost QBs. Many of those teams are in winning streaks or had been playing well before they lose their QB. So making a play to save the season made sense but the Chiefs haven't been in that position.

When Orton was putting up good QB ratings in Denver, he was also throwing for a lot of yards. Cassel wasn't doing that here. That's an important distinction.
