Palko told he is starting in Chicago.

Todd Haley = massive buffoon.

I hope we can all move on from supporting this clown now.

I'd say that even if they do secretly have a good QBOTF in Stanzi they should still draft a QB in the first round. Maybe they both flop. Maybe one hits and one doesn't. Maybe they both hit and you're looking at a Brees/Rivers situation.

Orton is better than Cassel. You're the only idiot that doesn't see that.

I have said repeatedly that Orton is a good 1-2 year option, but moronic if they keep him longer than that unless he clearly shows that he's a franchise QB. And I've said repeatedly that he won't be a franchise QB. Find me any place where I've said otherwise. In fact, there's a giant thread starter I created talking about why I don't believe he's a franchise QB.

Quote:
You are a homer. So, I have no doubt that once the Chiefs draft a QB, you will talk about how great he will be. Much like you talked up Cassel when going into this season and much like you watched the 'game tape' and know how Orton will be so much better than Cassel.
Uhh... no. I hated that Cassel was our QB to begin the season. Beginning of his career with the Chiefs, I was more optimistic and patient than many. Middle of last year, I saw it was clear that he sucked and have not turned back since. I have been very tough on Cassel for the last season and a half. Now, I''m not a blind hater. I am willing to give Cassel credit when he plays a good game and he hasn't been 100% terrible. But for a year and a half, I have clearly said that he has no pocket presence, is a 1-read QB, holds on to the ball too long, is making our o-line worse, and is way too inaccurate on his passes.

Quote:
But, this way, if they don't take a QB... you can rationalize it away.

Unless they secretly have a good QBOTF in Stanzi, there is no reason that they shouldn't draft a QB in the first round THIS year.
No, I won't rationalize it. I've said that the Chiefs need to be aggressive about getting a first round QB next year, period. No matter how Orton does. And I've been the only beating on the drum of "I don't care about Stanzi. He's not a first round pick."

Find me a single post where I've said otherwise.

I'm stubborn as shit. But anybody on this forum, no matter how much they disagree, knows that I own up to stuff when I'm completely wrong. On the stuff you said above, you are making stuff up 100%.

Crime scene investigators were called to the scene a Kansas City Police Spokesman stated. Investigators quickly discovered a empty dozen egg carton after arriving at the scene. Upon further crime scene investigation, the perpetrator fumbled and dropped an egg not to far from the area where the egg carton was discovered. Three eggs erroneously were thrown at the neighbors house. Only two eggs managed to hit Haley's house. The rest of the dozen eggs thrown were broken well short harmlessly falling yards in front of the Haley residence. Investigators quickly assessed the evidence and have placed Tyler Palko under arrest.

Why can some of those guys on the NFL not just interview Haley, tell him, Dawg Palko doesn't need to be in the NFL at all.

It's gotten to the point that I despise coach speak. People may argue that the fans don't need to know everything.

Bullshit. We pay their salaries and are the reason for the sport to even be possible.

Then they shouldn't be entitled to anything of mine. Including my money, time, and attention.

I made the statement that I am going to by season tickets if they draft a qb in the first round this year. If we go true fan and go dline or RT I'll be hard pressed to pay a dime towards the Chiefs next year.

Right now they are set up PERFECTLY to draft a franchise quarterback.

There hasnt really been a better time where the talent meets need.

THey really are.

And I'm sure if they do Pioli will play it off that he had this in mind the whole time.

Hell maybe he did. I doubt it.

We are walking through the desert with nothing but a old, hard piece of bread and no water.

We are just now seeing as far as we can see and we think we see an oasis.

As Chiefs fans, we know how this ends.

No one knows how this FO will handle drafting a QB early. Pioli has yet to need/be able to draft a potential franchise QB early. The only thing we can count on is that he likely wont trade up to grab a Barkley/RG3.

This. It's pretty painfully obvious that we need one now.

Hopefully we are in a position where we don't have to trade up to get one of those two.
