Babin went to the Eagles and was cut and it took until the 2010 season with Tennessee for him to do anything so that doesn't fit the bill of dumping a guy who turns into great player right after leaving KC.

Not sure Wade Smith fits, didn't he get silly $ to go to the Texans as a back up? I think we offered him a contract they just topped it.

The bottom line is if KC doesn't want you, you are getting cut from a team with no depth to begin with. You probably suck.

Yet we still have O'Connell, Pope, Richardson etc....

To be fair, this is almost invariably true for any team who doesn't cut someone just for cap reasons.
