It's not about evaluating Stanzi.

It's about evaluating PALKO.

He's the worst QB in the league, with a bullet.

I couldn't get the game so I had to switch back and forth between Fox radio and ESPN radio - both crews were LAUGHING every time they updated the score and had to mention Palko.

All joking aside, is it ACTUALLY possible to be worse than Palko? Lets pretend that he has been worse, what is the risk? The season is over, see what the young guy has. The preseason alone shows you he can do more than Palko.

I would have liked to have seen him play today, but I will admit that Haley and Zorn are in more of a position to decide if he is ready than I am - or anyone else here. There are a lot of people here with egos so big that they think that without even seeing practice they know more about it than professionals who see them in practice every day.

I fully admit that while I value my own views, I don't see what coaches see. That being said, I think this situation is beyond that. There just really isn't a way Stanzi could be worse, and even if he is, what is the risk?

Sometimes as a coach you lose some perspective. You see Palko working hard as hell and maybe it influences you. You are getting paid a lot but people are human. In this case, I think the fans are just seeing it more clearly.
