Glad they got the starters out. Looks like Steve Moore got a tooth knocked loose.

Good game in the 2nd half. They came out sloppy int he 1st but Haith got them turned around and they blew it up in the 2nd. I am starting to think that hate for Haith may have been undeserved. We will see once conference play starts.

He inherited a pretty good team. But I like how he has put the speed to use.

Agreed. He got some good talent handed to him. He has put the speed to use and wow, we actually run an offense that works the ball inside and scores. We are hitting shots at a much, much better clip than last year. And our freethrow performance is night and day compared to the last several years.

When we made the elite 8 under Anderson, we torched Memphis while playing the best first half of basketball I ever saw us play.

This year, every half looks like that.

And had we played more disciplined like we are now we would have seen the final four with that team.

Weekday nights against Kennesaw State isn't going to draw many people from STL or KC. I think if the university was within 30 minutes of either city, you would see much better crowds on weekday nights.

Non conference basketball for the most part sucks. There are better things to do than see glorified practices.

You're just now starting to?

Best start to the season in over 20 years. Every single player on our team has improved. Our efficiency on offense is incredible now that we actually have a strategy with the high-low and pick and roll. And our half-court defense is like night and day from last year.

Tough crowd.

It's okay to jump in feet first with this team now. The water's fine.
