but look at the Lions...they were best when they were down 14 and teams stopped being aggressive defensively...

three different guys threw for over 5000 yards...

this year has been a little different

If I were a coach I'd never let off the gas...I'd keep being aggressive on defense no matter what (to an extent)...I see a lot more big play against prevent at the end of the game than I do in the 1st quarter when teams are sticking to their game plans and bringing pass rushers to get to the QB...Denver rushed 3 there, let Roethlisberger manipulate the pocket, step up and find an open guy 30 yards down the field in the end zone...

I generally agree--and I said it out of honest curiosity instead of an opinionated stance-- but, how do the TOs help an offense in no-huddle mode more than a defense? Above 2 minutes, it's unlikely they'll simply .. run out of time...

I believe you should use them as soon as possible when trailing if the other team is in the 4 minute drill.
