I've been wondering why we Mizzou fans don't have one of these.

When was OU in the top five in basketball in the last four years?

Wow. I remember OU being ranked high with Griffin, but I didn't remember them being that high.

It seems like Griffin being there was a lot longer than within the last four years...but that is the only OU team that would even sniff the top five. Must be it.

According to Pomeroy's analysis, Marcus Denmon is the most efficient player in the nation....

....and Ricardo Ratliffe is second.

That is incredible.

Mizzou also has four of the top twelve in the Big 12.

This season even makes me hate George Goode a little more than I used to.

Think he wishes he'd have been a part of this run? He'd have probably been our 2nd guy off the bench, ahead of Moore. And in this system, his length and athleticism would've given us a nice little boost; a poor-man's Bowers so to speak. He'd have been a graduated 5th year, so he could've played for us this season.

Ugh, so many "could have beens"... If this season happens last year, Otto Porter is a Tiger. Instead it happened in a year where there wasn't a lot of premier Missouri talent. If Martin's not a D-bag. If Bowers is healthy, if Green never blows out his knee....ARGH!

So close, but still seeming so far away. I'd be a lot less worried about Lucy moving the football again if we'd have had even a little bit of luck with regards to that frontcourt depth over the last 12 months.

I think there are probably a few guys who wish they were part of this run.

George Goode.

Oh, well. It is what it is. Just have to buckle up and see what happens.

I heard Goode wanted to come to Mizzou but paperwork held it up.

I hate Kadeem Green. What kind of loser transfers midseason in year like this?

Seriously. You'll have to sit out anyway. Finish up the season on a top 5 team and provide a little depth.

Anyone else a little worried about this OSU game?

They've struggled a bit this year, but they're still 2-1 at home in conference play. Last season they were 6-2 at home, with a point losses to a ranked A&M team (and a 6 point win against Mizzou).

Gallagher-Iba is no fun to play at and they'll come out fired up. Mizzou had better be ready for a dogfight because this is not even close to a gimme for them.

I think I'm just used to the worst case scenario at this point, but it sure does have the look of a game the Tigers look past to the KU game.

I will worry about every road game we play this year. Especially being ranked this high nationally, the letdown game feels imminent.

Surely we are not self loathing enough to be going on and on about what 'could' have been during a ride like this while also tabbing each and every next game as the one we drop.

Enjoy the god damn ride for a little bit.

Not really. GIA has been half empty all season, and the Pokes can't score. Every game makes me nervous, but this should be a double digit win.

The day Mizzou fans get over this mentality will be a glorious day. We're very good on the road this year, so keep your chin up.
