The Academy declares that the 2011 MVP nominations are open.

The nominations for the 2011 Chiefs Planet Most Valauable Poster are open.

EDIT: NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED AS OF JAN. 29TH 05:00 AM.

The criteria is that the poster posted on Chiefs Planet between Jan.1 and Dec. 31st 2011.

The Academy will make no attempt to identify the qualities that make the poster the MVP for 2011. That is for each individual to decide and nominate if they deem a member of the community worthy of the 2011 MVP award.

Is it being funny? Football knowledge? Great member of the community in general? Your opinion. Your decision.

The Academy will compile the nominations and make a public poll. Only those with multiple nominations will be included in the poll. The member recieving the most votes is crowned the 2011 Chiefs Planet MVP!

I was making my case for Lumpy being one of my nominees. Because among being a real friend on here she also fits those descriptions. However if she didn't fit them all (including personal frienship) I wouldn't have bothered.

Luv is a friend of mine too. So is Red 'N Feisty. So is Dylan. All women. Why didn't I nominate them? Because Lumpy has been a confidant for a while and the nominations where open to many different criteria.

In the end I don't need to explain myself to you, even if I just did. You can't decide whether you're a football poster or a drama queen.

As far as female posters, none of us compare to Dylan. She talks sports on a male dominated board and gets respect for her opinions....even though she's not a Chiefs fan. The rest of us sometimes, or a lot of the time, resort to flirting and using sexual innuendos. To me, on a male dominated board, Dylan is the woman.

I like Dylan too, but I haven't really paid too much attention to her posts lately. Where's her nomination btw? You should nominate her. I would, but I don't want to look like I'm just randomly selecting people w/o a viable reason for the nomination.

I think Luv has endured some of the cruelest things said from Clay on this site. If I were her, I would have left years ago. If I had been a mod during the height of his luv abuse, he would have been permabanned. He's a first-rate prick and I'm not going to forget easily just because of a few gifs or videos. It's not like any 14 year old kid can't pick up video editing and throw together a few clips. We're not talking about brain surgery. I'm not saying he doesn't try and that his products aren't great. It's just that there are millions of kids editing video these days. If he got hit by a bus tomorrow, there would be some n00b posting Chiefs gifs on ChiefsPlanet by Tuesday.
