Life May be going to jail for awhile - Page 21

Actually just got out yesterday morning after spending a night but depending on the judge's mood I could go back for a long time.

I put my ex-wife's boyfriend in the hospital Thursday evening for slapping my 11 year old daughter across the face. She called me crying about 7PM saying he slapped her for telling her mom to shut up. She also informed me he spanked my 6 year old son about a month before that but didnt tell me because her mom made her promise she wouldnt. I went over there and confronted him about it. He denied it, then my daughter came outside and I could still see the hand print on her face. The whole thing got bad quick. I used no restraint and by the time my ex's neighbor pulled me off of him he was coughing up blood. My lawyer informed me that he had a collapsed lung, broken nose, broken orbital bone near his left eye, broken collar bone, and a ruptured spleen. I only hope the judge has a daughter and can be reasonable and understand my side. I go back to court March 8th.

I hope your daughter didn't have to watch that. I watched my stepdad beat up my dad and it was the most traumatic memory of my childhood. I blame both of them for ever letting it get to that, but my stepdad more obviously. Your daughter may recognize that you came to her defense, but she will still probably be mad at you for not showing more self-restraint.

Hehe, he may have took it a bit far, but when adrenaline is going, its going. The dude should not put his hands on a kid that isnt his. Its just that simple. If you do, then you best expect and ass kicking. If it was me and i did nothing, i would expect someone to kick my ass for being a pussy and not at least bitch slapping the dude.

Despite the emotions and adrenaline involved, I've never understood why people carry out crimes in the heat of the moment. Letting someone know they're going to get theirs doesn't require a big scene, washing blood off your hands in public, or in this case forcing the child to be a witness to you committing a violent crime.

I would think claiming full custody, letting him get his slap on the wrist, and later putting a well thought out plan into motion when the perfect opportunity presented itself would have been much more gratifying. Revenge is best served cold, alone, and with a smile.

This is why there are police and courts. No excuse for acting like a moron period. Let the courts haul his ass into jail. Take a picture of the hand print and he's going straight to jail. Anything else you are a complete idiot. End of story.
