Landry getting too big to play Safety?
Recent pictures posted on free agent SS LaRon Landry's Twitter feed show Landry to be extremely muscle bound.
They can be viewed at the link below. We're speculating, but Landry has appeared to pump so much iron with his upper body that he might be too heavy or bulging to stay at safety. Landry also passed on Achilles' surgery after the season, even though it was recommended by several doctors. His priorities may be more on getting ripped than playing defensive back effectively at this point.

he isnt slow, when healthy he is one of the fastest players at his position in the NFL.

There are reports that the stem cell route he took for recovery didnt heal as planned and he still needs achilles surgery.

Could put his career in jeopardy.

If it is just rumors with no basis (same reports say he hasnt run for quite some time, either) Id sign him to an incentive laden contract in a heartbeat.

Dude is ELITE talent, heath is his main concern.

It would be a worthwhile gamble IMO.
