Amazing. I never heard of it spelled that way. Of course, I attended a small, rural public school where they pronounced "wash" as "warsh" and I flunked high school English about 3 years running, so what do I know?

Warsh is the correct pronunciation, but Wash is the spelling. I always explained that it was an invisible R, kinda like the silent letters...lol
