Peyton Manning to visit Denver TONIGHT to meet with Donks
Peyton Manning will be in Denver tonight visiting with the Broncos, according to two NFL sources.

This is getting serious, folks.

Manning, arguably the most decorated free agent in NFL history, has the Broncos on his short list. The long-time Indianapolis Colts quarterback was released earlier this week amid concerns about his neck, a $26 million bonus payment and the team's opportunity to select highly prized quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

Manning, 36, has been cleared to throw by his neck specialist, Dr. Robert Watkins. One NFL source said Manning will also visit the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins after visiting with the Broncos. A source said Manning would like to make a decision by Tuesday, the first day of free agency.

The Broncos' top brass of John Elway, coach John Fox and general manager Brian Xanders, are currently in Stillwater, Okla., watching the Oklahoma State Pro Day workout that features quarterback Brandon Weeden.

The Broncos have the No. 25 pick in the draft, plus the 25th selection in the second round. Weeden, who turns 29 in October, is considered the second-best passer to Luck in the draft and has been projected to go between the Broncos' top two picks.

Manning will turn 36 in two weeks.

Some of you need to listen to Clark again, keep in mind, these points.

Peyton likes a small market ( Indy , he has stated many times in years past he likes KC and the passionate fan base.) What market is Midwest like Indy? KC or Denver ?

He does not like the Big media markets. ( Already the Miami media has alienated him ) In Denver he has the John Elway legacy, Tebowmaniacs, etc.

He has no desire to play against his brother in the NFC, he wants to play him in the SB and had already stated he prefers the AFC.

It's down to KC & Denver. He is playing one against the other right now.

I can see it down to just us and the Donks, who wins, but KC is in the mix and he WILL visit 101 Arrowhead Dr. soon.

I hate you for getting my hopes up at all. And yeah you make valid points. And yeah KC is a perfect match for Peyton Manning. He would literally alter the future of our franchise if he came here. But we're the Chiefs. We will find a way to **** around, and allow Peyton to go elsewhere.
