Sunglasses buying philosophy

I've been several options in the poll. There is a difference. There's a lot to be said for a quality pair of polarized shades. That said, I try to buy nice shades cheap. Sometimes I'll see a decent pair of $85-150 sunglasses at a surplus store for $20. I'll buy 2 or 3 pair of them. But I generally wear cheap ones these days because I've become cheap in my old age. I picked up a dozen pair of tinted safety glasses for work a couple years back for about $1.50 apiece and they're actually polarized. Wish I had bought every pair they had.
