The first major "upgrade" they should do as members of the SEC is bring Brad Hill back to Missouri. Use some of that SEC money to lure Hill away from Kansas State....

I'm fine with that. What's it look like over the last 10 years or so?
Now I'm curious, and this is based on an assumption that men's football and basketball are on equal footing, which some would certainly debate. School Year Football Winner Basketball Result Simple Record 02-03 Mizzou 36-12 Kansas 2, Mizzou 1 TIE (?) 03-04 Kansas 35-14 Kansas 3, Mizzou 0 Kansas 4-0 04-05 Kansas 31-14 Kansas 1, Mizzou 1 Kansas 2-1 05-06 Kansas 13-3 Kansas 1, Mizzou 1 Kansas 2-1 06-07 Mizzou 42-17 Kansas 2, Mizzou 0 Kansas 2-1 07-08 Mizzou 38-28 Kansas 2, Mizzou 0 Kansas 2-1 08-09 Kansas 40-37 Kansas 1, Mizzou 1 Kansas 2-1 09-10 Mizzou 31-39 Kansas 2, Mizzou 0 Kansas 2-1 10-11 Mizzou 35-7 Kansas 2, Mizzou 0 Kansas 2-1 11-12 Mizzou 24-10 Kansas 1, Mizzou 1 Mizzou 2-1 It's readily apparent that Mizzou has absolutely dominated Kansas in the non-revenue sports over the course of the last 10 years, but in the revenue sports, the last 10 years have been fairly close. The rivalry will be missed. Wish you all had chosen to stick with the Big 12.

Mizzou dominates Kansas in everything but track and basketball.

Yeah, because going back a decade in the two biggest sports is really cherry picking.

Let me know when there is an official competition between the schools for just those two.

How about 47.5%? I think you would agree that if a team won 47.5% of their games against an opponent, then they would be considered dominant.

I don't know. I suppose you can brag about dominating in volleyball, tennis, even college baseball, and the like. If I followed, and cared about those sports I guess it'd stick in my craw a bit.
KU is a storied, and top five all time program in what almost everyone would consider is one of the top two sports in college athletics. MU is not in either sport. If I were an MU fan that would bother me a little, but what can you do? |

Give him a chance to back up his story. I'm more than willing to concede my position. Of late, Mizzou has done very well in non-revenue sports. I merely ask for a few links where he supports his argument.
I've conceded baseball, and he's conceded basketball and track. That leaves the following: Volleyball Soccer Men's and Women's Cross Country Women's Swimming & Diving Women's Basketball Softball Men's and Women's Golf I look forward to the results.
