Ants and Nuclear Weapons

I've been concerned about this, so I decided to do some calculations.

The average ant weighs 3 milligrams based on a number of online sources. If you compared this to a 170-lb. human, that means the human is roughly 26 million times larger.

If you look at the power of the first atomic bombs, we're talking roughly 15 kilotons of TNT. The power of the biggest nuclear bomb ever detonated is about 50 megatons of TNT.

So if the ants develop weaponry on the same scale relative to their size, their early atomic bombs would be the equivalent of 1.1 pounds of TNT, and they could rapidly scale up to the equivalent of 3,800 pounds of TNT.

Think about it. Ants are everywhere. If they were to obtain this technology and use it, we could have the equivalent of a pound of TNT going off in our yards without warning, and within 50 years they could be setting off the equivalent of two tons of TNT in our yards. It would bring civilization crumbling down.

Now, I'm not saying it's going to happen anytime soon, but don't you think we should be preparing for it, and possibly watching for signs of progress in testing?
