These guys can get pissed at you Toad but you are a helluva lot smarter than you are given credit for here.

I was calling for Orton the day he was released for KC... Cassell should have been a Cowboy right now and Orton should be a Chief...

Bottom line: The babysitter is gone. Crennel's style is not to babysit unlike Haley who loved to babysit Bowe and everybody else for that matter. Pioli knows Crennel won't babysit and doesn't trust Bowe on his own with a big contract plain and simple. If Bowe does sign a contract it will be Pioli friendly and we know that probably won't happen.

The big point is that this discussion shouldn't be happening. There should be no one sad about the loss of Orton. No one should be complaining about him leaving. It's like getting mad that you didn't have diarrhea today.

And the difference between the two is one sucks between the twenties, and one sucks inside the 20s.

Orton is content at being a backup. I'm content in not wanting a QB like that.

One thing I do like about Crennel is that he doesn't seem to be big on Cassel.

Top 10 offense? Doubt it. Top 15? That seems more likely. Orton doesn't put it in the endzone enough to be one of the top offenses in the league. Succop would get a workout though.
