I agree, but he still showed more control of the offense and poise than Cassel. Sure he sucked even worse than Cassel when the play actually got started, but I mean, that's pretty much by default since Palko was just that bad after the snap.

Which is why I think Haley played him over Stanzi. Unless he truly was trying to get fired. I think Palko was a surrogate for Haley: a guy with a brain for the game but nowhere near enough talent.

I remember hearing people saying that Palko had the smarts to be a coach. That's fine, he should get into coaching, he had no business taking a live NFL snap let alone starting three games.

i can assure you that he (Palko) does not have the smarts. I knew a female cheerleader that knew him.

i know a guy who knows a guy whos aunt's lesbian wife is a realtor in north leawood area..around rockhurst hs..u know that area right?...anyway he said that palko was soooo smart

I never said he was smart. When Palko was in there, he just looked more like an NFL QB, getting the team to the line and the presnap. When Cassel's in there, he looks like just another guy who happens to line up behind the center. He doesn't look like he's running things. Cassel reminds me of Croyle in that regard, I just get the impression that they're just doing their role. You want the QB to be in charge and running the offense, not just being a role player out there, that's what the other 10 guys are supposed to be doing.

small town Pennsylvania football is a lot tinier than a massive kansas city "i saw charlie weiss at best buy" type deal. I'm not from Kansas City, i'm from PA. Where the dude has played 95 percent of his football career

He didn't do more pre snap reads. He didn't get the team to the line any better. He never took charge. He was as good or worse than Cassel in every aspect of his game. Half the time he didn't even look like he knew what was going on. He had the same expression every single drive, every single play.

The offense NEVER looked ready in any of his games. It's not just the physical part that hurt him. Dude made GOD AWFUL decisions. You dont have a 2-7 TD:INT ratio by just being bad physically. He was terrible in the mental part of the game too.
