Well, is it really tearing it up if we're hearing about how every other completion wasaught by a contorting WR? How many times have we heard "Baldwin made a great adjustment to the ball, he went up and got it(Quinn and Stanzi don't have wrs who can go up and get it), Boss halls in a pass thrown behind him, Breaston makes a sliding catch of a ball thrown behind him. Cassel's receivers are making him look good a lot. Sounds like he only needs to throw the ball in Baldwins general direction.

Meanwhile, we hear of Quinn and Stanzi's receivers dropping easy passes and easy TD's. Get real. I can't stand the idiot media who judges a QB on how many passes are completed...

The throws I saw him make tonight were bad. I don't care who he was throwing too they were not catchable. In QB drills passes that Cassel and Quinn were nailing he overthrew twice and horribly. I mean they were way over the WR and not even a chance at being caught.

Hahaha

This place is great.

Like I said in the other thread, if Stanzi had a bad practice he WILL rebound in the next few.

Half of his picks at Iowa were in the first quarter of games and he always fought back and won the game or at least made it close.

I love seeing so many people that have ignored his glowing reports up until today come out of the woodwork to slam him though...makes for good reads.

Flowers got hurt and the depth after the first 3 or 4 is AWFUL. You dont want a guy like Travis Daniels having to carry the load as CB1 or CB2 in an actual season

we will get owned if that happens.

The passes I saw Cassel make tonight were pretty much as good as you would want. Sure a couple were behind but that's going to happen to any QB. The one he threw up top to Baldwin was exactly the pass he needed to make. It was over the middle in the end zone. He throws it any lower and it's picked. He also made a couple back shoulder throws I thought were good and yes, back should throws tend to contort a WR. That's the nature of the pass.

That can be taken both ways, though.

Cassels receivers were working harder for him...that's part of leadership.

Travis Daniels has done well when called upon in real games.

I have no worries about him.

Just a point of note and not to defend Cassel but when you are actually going against a defense sometimes the best place to put the ball is behind the receiver or you end up throwing it right to a defender.

That being said one of the best plays I saw tonight was Cassel hitting Boss on a seam route. Not that it was a stellar pass and catch, it was rather routine to me really but I haven't seen us run that plays in a long, long time. It is one of the hardest passes to defend if it is executed properly and if we can get that going with both TE's then we are going to have a lethal offense.

Oh my ****ing god.....A QB many times HAS to throw the ball where only the WR can adjust and go get it....Why not just admit you will never say anything positive about the guy....you sit there in your basement and claim you can tell that he is throwing bad balls based on a twitter feed, and the other guys are throwing good balls.....you're a god damn fool. Zero ****ing credibility...your eyes probably look like your avatar's eyes in real life, you googly eyed spazz. Go back to diablo 3.

The preseason arguments are going to be great. We need someone to take up the mantle for Quinn though to combat all the Cassel and Stanzi homers.

We'll see how this team looks in a week or so. Right now everyone seems to still be getting into football shape. When we start hitting someone from another team we will start to see what we may expect from our team.

Love this. @TheFilmRoom kept asking @BKSportstalk and @Jason_Madson what coverage the defense was running in the redzone drills, neither could answer. Jason Madison was pretty bad, made multiple excuses why he couldn't answer. It was obvious that neither one could tell you one coverage from another.

I don't know who BK writes for, if anyone, but Madison is a proud analyst over at kcchiefsdraft.com.

What I saw from the 1's weren't give ups but were actually just good passes that no defender was going to do anything about. Flowers actually had some good plays.
