This is a messed up mindset, because you will be saying the samething about Baldwin when it is his turn to get paid. This will keep the Chiefs from ever making it over the hump. I agree - but he needs to come off his demands a bit. He's not worth what he is asking. He is not a top 3 WR.

As I've stated a few times, I believe 100% that Bowe is gone after this year. We need Baldwin to become an impactful player. It's not about wanting to have Bowe leave. Trust me, I'd love to have Bowe, Baldwin, Breaston for many years, but it wont happen with this team.

I think the writing is on the wall. I tend to agree with you, and I, for one, would just like to make sure Bowe doesn't walk for nothing.

But that mindset is absurd. All that does is make the team desperately dependent on Baldwin's impact and health.

There's no reason this team can't have several good WRs at the same time. There's no reason this team, or any team in today's league, shouldn't have as many dependable WR options as possible.

"It's OK to let Bowe walk, because we think we have somebody that could be just as good."

That isn't a strategy. That's just risky as hell and poor planning.
