We tend to go full homer on here at times. He isn't taking that route right now. He's being a realist. Judging things based on what guys have done or not done previously
Whatever. He thinks this regime is garbage.
McCluster is a SMALL part of hate campaign.
You should know. You're the one with the 10 game bet with him.

Oh I think we have a talented roster and I think we will have a good year. But I'm not quite as confident as some on here.

That bet was just calling Clay on some trolling.

Don't see Baldwin getting 1000 with needing to split up yards with Hillis, Wylie, Brokaki, Boss, and Cassel (when he catches shit deflected by the line).
I think he goes for about 800 if you ask me, with a legitimate CHANCE that he goes for 1000.

He doesn't understand players can improve. What they are their rookie year is what they are ten or so years down the line when they retire.

Flame away. Bring it on. I'M A BELIEVER

We are not going to attempt that many passes.

They know Cassel's limitations and will protect him, not put him in harm's way.

We'll be top 3 in rushing attempts again, bottom 1/3 in third down conversions, and no more than 3200 yards passing.

Certainly a chance, especially if Cassel develops a Thigen-to-Gonzo-like lock on him during camp.

I have no doubt that Baldwin is a talented player, and I was thrilled with his selection last year. I have high expectations for him.

Judging from my day at TC yesterday, we will throw it more than we have the past few years.

You said it was for a month.

So if he scores a TD in preseason, you can take it down.

If he doesn't score at all this year, you keep it forever.

Are you game? Surely Dex can get 1 TD in 20 games.

I've somewhat touched on this already...but I will say this again about DMC.

He's not as bad as some people on this board think. However 1st day picks are supposed to be major contributors to your team. 2nd day picks are generally for depth, projects, or taking risks on some players that should have gone earlier, but didn't for whatever reason and happen to fall into the later rounds.

DMC was taken with the 36th overall pick (2nd rd), in what has been considered a reach by most people. Where exactly was DMC going to play? He's 5'8 170lbs soaking wet and on an offense where we already have Thomas Jones and Jamaal Charles, there was simply no place for him in most packages. However he was considered to be a fast/shifty football player in college that could makes things happen if he got into the open field. So another words the Chiefs coaches drafted a gadget player in the 2nd rd. This isn't DMC's fault, it more lands on the shoulders of Haley/Pioli.

Will he be cut? No. I don't think there's any chance at all he's cut from this team. He signed a 4-yr deal, which will be up after the 2013 season. If he's not able to contribute and settle into his new WR role, then I don't think he will be resigned, esp w/ the recent drafting of Wylie. He's not a bad football player. He's small which makes him easier to bring down, but he's quick enough to make people miss - just not exceptionally quick like a Dante Hall. I think it's more a blunder on the coaching staff that drafted him and then realized there wasn't a place for him more than anything, and that's not necessarily the fault of DMC's more than it is the coaching staff who drafted him.

If he's throwing the ball that much, we're probably in real trouble.

We're going to see a Martified offensive attack, especially if Hillis lives up to expectations.

Sure I do. I have been very patient with guys like Justin Houston, Eric Berry, Javier Arenas, etc.

When someone is a piece of dogshit their rookie year, though, I tend to have negative feelings.
