Honestly Cassel could and should have his best season to date. I still don't like the guy, hes not a playmaker. But Haley just couldn't couldn't adapt, he wanted a guy that can throw it around and make plays like Kurt Warner. He didn't use Cassel to his strengths(few I know). Weis used him more like what he used Tom Brady, smart safe manage your way to victory. There were obvious clashes with Weis and Haley, because Weis wasn't throwing it up and making big plays like Haley wanted.

at the beg of the season i could never do that. As much as i ****ing hate matt cassel, i want the team to win not to suck. We've been sucking for 42 ****ing years. I wasnt even alive then.

Cleaning house to a new regime also doesnt mean we will get the qb, or get the right GM. I think Pioli is doing a decent enough job, we got some talented players on this team, but yes, the QB shit sucks. WHo's to say the next GM doesnt get a washed up ass qb as well.

And hell, I'm kind of an old school guy who prefers the run game over the pass and a tough defense. Love that type of football.
