Everyone thought so. Not just Royals fans, but the entire scouting community. I'd say its too early to say that he was overrated.

We learned that he's developed a serious flaw in his approach. Next year we'll learn whether or not he can adjust.

People were too quick to attribute his struggles to luck, and it's approach.
