You talk to others, and they couldn't wait for his career to be over. That kind of sums him up. He is a high risk-high reward player IMO that could win some games for you but could lose some games for you as well.

I always thought Ricky was surrounded by great talent as well. The Iowa teams he played on were very strong offensively (and defensively) and made up for a lot of his mental errors along the way. He did cut down on his mental errors his senior year however.
Stanzi is a guy who can throw 3 ints during the course of the game but turn around and throw 4 TDs & a game winning drive. I don't like the INT part but I do like a winner atribute that I think Stanzi can deliver. I don't know yet I'm open just to see what he has to offer when he gets to play during the preseason before I can be sure about the kid. So far I'm basing my judgement just on hope that he can do good. I'm going hold on to that hope as long as I can & just have to wait to see what happens. I want to see for myself with my own eyes of him playing just how good or bad he is. I also figure he is a rookie asperatis that he didn't get any opportunity last year to really show forth any thing other than 3 limited game duty during preseason last year. Not enough evidence what he brings to the team in the NFL. Cassel didn't even start for four years in college and he is our ****ing starting QB.

Because their fans would never allow the Chiefs time to develop a draftee into a starter. Takes too long. We want a Superbowl run NOW! Not a couple of years from now!

If he sucks in preseason, I'll cool off on him till next year.

I don't give up easily on an argument or my stances on players or coaches.

Never have.

I base all of my opinions on a lot of information and I think Stanzi will be pretty good.

He has a much higher ceiling than Cassel, there is no question about that.
McNutt is Iowa's all time leading receiver. He was an excellent college WR. Before McNutt broke that record, it was held by the other receiver Stanzi was throwing to in Derrell Johnson-Koulianos. Moeaki at TE and Shon Greene at RB in 2008. His O-Lines were also first rate as well with many now playing in the pros including Riley Reiff, Julian Vandervelde, Adam Gettis, Kyle Calloway, and Bryan Bulaga to name a few.

How is that a shitty throw? He puts it right over the CBs head. Even Baldwin has to go high for it.

Yeah, for tall dudes like that, just throw it up to where the CB cant catch it. How many times we seen Randy Moss do that shit through the years.
