yeah, I saw that. Last month when they listed that same info, there was a note that indicated the rest of the schedule would be finalized later this month (back in June)

Pretty good preview of the coming season. A lot of us know most of this stuff already, but it's in a nice concise format without much bias. They don't really make many predictions, just sort of set the scene.

A poll at the end asks how you think KU will fare this season. I said We win our 9th conference title in a row, but I'll temper any final four or national title expectations till I see the team in January or February.

KU won its first exhibition game 79-76 vs the Swiss National Team in Fribourg, Switzerland.

KU will play Switzerland again at 10 a.m. Central time on Wednesday."

FINAL: KU rallies late for 83-79 win over Swiss national team
The Kansas men's basketball team rallied from a four-point deficit with 2:55 left, scoring 14 of the game's final 20 points to take an 83-79 victory over the Swiss national team on Wednesday night in Fribourg, Switzerland.

For the second straight game, Kevin Young made key plays down the stretch, putting in a tip to tie it with less than a minute left before putting in a transition to put KU up by two with 13 seconds left.

The Swiss missed a long three, and Andrew White got the rebound and made both free throws after getting fouled to put it away with 2.6 seconds left.

Elijah Johnson led KU with 16 points, while Andrew White had 14. Withey added 10.

KU's next game is against a French pro team at 1 p.m. Saturday in Paris.

LONDON - With a 77-74 win against Spain Saturday, former Kansas men’s basketball player Sasha Kaun’s Russian team won Group B of the 2012 Olympic Games. With a 4-0 record in Group B play, Russia now avoids the heavy-favored USA (4-0) team from Group A in bracket play which begins Aug. 8. Russia could only play USA in the gold medal contest should both teams advance.

Against Spain, Kaun, who played at Kansas from 2005-08 and was a key reserve on KU’s 2008 NCAA National Championship team, started and played just over 13 minutes, scoring one point. The Tomsk, Russia, native also had one assist in the victory.

Kaun is the first Jayhawk men’s basketball player to participate in the Olympic Games since Danny Manning competed for the United States in 1988, winning the bronze medal. Kaun currently plays professionally for CSKA Moscow and is no stranger to international play. He was also a member of the Russian National Team, which competed in the 2010 World Championships in Turkey.

The Russians conclude group play on Monday, Aug. 6 against Australia at 2 a.m. (CT). Should Russia lose to Australia, it could tie for the Group B title with Brazil or Spain who play Monday. Russia defeated both Brazil and Spain earlier during Group B competition.

The top four teams from both six-team groups will advance to the single-elimination quarterfinals, which begin Aug. 8. Start times for the quarterfinals have yet to be announced.
