i just cant wrap my head around the thought of them cutting guys like Gray, Wylie, etc

man it was a lot easier in TC/preseason knowing they were going to cut turds like Amani Toomer and Zach Thomas, no brainers. Young athletic guys with high potential is a lot harder to evaluate/part with.

He's worth a shit as the 3rd TE on this team.

He'll beat out Jake O'Connell. You disagree?

They won't.

I don't think so, anyway.

I doubt seriously he'll be some kind of weapon.

Not a weapon, but I have a feeling Romeo is going to want him on the field.

I don't see shit from these FBs we brought to camp. They all suck. Romeo might just line up Maneri as an H-back on I formation plays. He can shift over to TE as needed.

He'll be used as a pretty versatile blocker, I think. All around an asset.

Probably already addressed, but didn't Maneri used to play a different position or am I getting him confused with someone else?

#45... listed as a RB, but played FB last night early... had a couple of huge blocks in the hole that sprung our runners free. wouldn't write him off just yet.

Maneri can be a huge weapon in the run game. Go with a two TE set and he can seal the edges. Showing the ability to make plays 15 yards down the line of scrimmage shows that he might only catch 12 balls this year, but they will have elephantitis.
