Don't forget WITH third stringers.

Stats line means nothing to evaluating a QB in a preseason game. You look at poise, command, decision making, accuracy, etc.

The only balls he threw that could be criticized were 40 yds. downfield.

5 out of 7 of his throws were good and he lead what should have been two touchdown drives if some camp fodder receiver could get his feet down.

I can't wait to see what he does with his first chance at playing with the second team offense in a game situation for the first time.

I expect StanziMania to be running wild Saturday night.

Wasn't that Billay's camp fodder receiver? Or was it Newcombe ?

Apparently the depth chart hasn't changed. I can't remember if that's the way things went in the past. I thought it was. Kind of remember talk about how they'd put out a depth chart b/c they had to.

He was practicing with the 2s today according to reports.

He scrambled out of the pocket and directed Wylie to the open field and threw a touchdown to him.

A TD that Wylie had to make a one handed grab to catch. Not saying that isn't acceptable as it was a TD, just sayin'

Odd...I read that Wylie changed his route once Stanzi got flushed and made a nice one-handed catch.

Yes, he changed his route when Stanzi directed him to. You aren't reading Fescoe tweets are you? Stanzi hater extraordinaire.

I don't think anyone doubts Stanzi's football IQ. Just his ability to execute consistently.

They were making fun of him today on 610. They were laughing during his reps saying most of his throws were completed by dirt.

Yes, Fescoe. Nevermind that when he throws a TD or an impressive completion, Fescoe constantly conveniently leaves Stanzi's name out of the tweet. Just, "TD insert name". Then goes on to make other plays seem as though Stanzi was off target when others say he throws it away.

Funny anyone would trust anything Fescoe says. The guy is an reporter and that is it. He has yet to display any kind of acumen for the game. Honestly.
