I'm sorry for your loss. We lost Fox 4 about 8 years ago here in Topeka.

I'm still trying to find an antenna that can pull them in.

I have on of these...

http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp...-(CM3671)&c=TV Antennas&sku=

Along with one of these...

http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp...ku=02057207774

With a rotor. (A must IMO if you are going to have an outdoor antenna)

This site is great as well. You will figure out why after you check it out.

http://www.tvfool.com/index.php?opti...d=67&Itemid=95

Use this link at that site...
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29

If you need more help than this, let me know.

PS - The HD reception on one of these bad boys is better than the cable or satellite too.

Awesome information Coogs, thanks. I spent most of Labor Day Sunday crawling around like a monkey in the attic of our place at Tablerock, with no luck.

Do you have a preampifier? If not, I would suggest trying one. I live a long ways from the the places signals are sent from. Can't hardly get anything without the pre-amp. With it I can get signals from up to 135 miles away. Not always, but once in a while. Can get stations within 75-100 miles all of the time.

I ordered the preamp and the rotor that you linked yesterday. That other site you linked was awesome and helped me map out which direction I need to aim the antenna. Thanks again.

Even though our place is 50 miles south, and about 15 west of Springfield, I am going to need to aim the antenna almost due east for most stations. I had been trying NNE.

I can't wait to get back down there to try it all out.

Oh, and we will have DTV also, but I don't want it all over the house. It just doesn't make sense for two people to pay over $150 a month to DTV to me. We will have 5 sets hooked up, but only two on DTV. Right now we have DTV down there, but it doesn't have local stations, since they are counting it as our 3rd set from here in Illinois.

I can't wait to get away from this Sunday Ticket robbery (don't care to watch other games) and be able to get Royals games when they aren't beating up on the White Sox.

I live a long ways from anywhere. So this antenna works great for me. I need the rotor, so I have mine on a tower outback of the house. Not even really noticible if you are not paying attention.

Not sure how far you are from KC, but if you look at the Channel Master links at the top of the ones I posted, they have several antennas to choose from that would probably work in an attic.

The key is the preamplifier. Get one of those. Money well spent.
