Approval Rating

Out of curiosity, what is your level of confidence (or, approval rating--whichever you prefer to call it) in the chiefs right now... including the players, front office, coaching staff, facilities, owners, groundskeepers, etc.

This is absolutely correct. Herm and KooHairIck were a pretty good team in terms of identifying talent.

Big step backward, ironically enough, with the Boston Bullshitter in town.

My interest has just been dwindled. So I saw "meh" and chose that.

Depends on the context. If you're voting on the best sitcom, really doesn't need to be public. This is a Chiefs board. If you can't make your opinion public, or can't stand up to the heat for your opinion, you probably shouldn't be here.

There needs to be a choice of negative #'s in this poll.

The Chiefs are giant epic fail.

This year in game 1 it was: Reeves, Berry, Daniels and Routt. Not single player the same as the year before.

I know other teams overcome injuries (the Giants) but these are the Chiefs. Questionable drafts, talent, coaching and philosophy.

Quite frankly Pioli sucked most of the Chiefs life out of me this offseason when he didn't pursue a young QB, so I didn't/don't really have high expectations.
One way I believe teams overcome injuries is through good depth on their roster.

That's what so frustrating about this team in that there is no depth. Pioli screwed up big time in this area.

I'm having difficulty naming an area he hasn't screwed up, you know?

Berry was probably a great pick, but even that has turned out badly (through no fault on anyone's part except that Buffalo wipe). Still, it's an open question going forward. Overall, our drafts haven't been that great. Nor has his selection of HCs. Even his FA pickups this season have yet to contribute to a win.

The stairwells are pristine, though. That's something, I guess.

It's amazing what shitty management and bad coaching does to a talented team.

The talent is there on this team and with a good management and coaching I think wonders could be made. I'd also like to add that, I believe a key element is missing on this team, that is, leadership.

Your team can have all the talent possible but if it doesn't have any leaders, they ain't winning. Its sad when I just watch the games and see how this team absolutely crumbles through the face of adversity. That reflects lack of leadership IMO.

Not only is this team devoid of talent at key positions but they are also missing leadership at key positions such as QB, MLB, etc. I'll even include coaching, upper management and ownership in there as well.

I don't think our ownership is in this thing for football. The Hunts don't seem like football first people but rather business first people. The whole mindset/approach from ownership creates disaster for everything else.

Agree with all of this Fax. I thought Carl and Herm did a better job.

Whats even worse is his stubbornness and unwillingness to make necessary changes.
