Another place called "Big Boy's" is further east on US 40 near Crysler. That's about a quarter mile east of where the old Blue Ridge Mall was just off I-70. They also have big ass burgers.

Both places are non-chain mom and pops.

Can't go wrong at either place.

Big Boy's is a chain. I've been to a few here.

They suck.

You're thinking of Bob's Big Boy, with the fat kid holding a hamburger out front.

This one in Independence is a mom and pop, one of a kind. Been there since 1962. NOT part of a chain.

Actually, I was thinking of Frisch's Big Boy.

Frisch's Big Boy is a regional restaurant chain from the Big Boy franchise. Today there are over ninety restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. Frisch's also owns numerous Golden Corral restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Frisch's is one of the longest surviving Big Boy franchises.
