It seems to me... and this is just me talking... that there is kind of a new outlaw movement going on with a more raw sound and lyric and guys like Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Shooter Jennings, are kind of leading that group. The main difference IMO about it now is that it's staged instead of growing out of any real rebellion. It IS the cool style rather than being an alternative... which is fine if you like it... but it doesn't strike me as real or quality very often. Does that makes any sense at all?
