Chiefsplanet Hobby Shop-Collectors-Buy-Sell-Trade

This thread is dedicated to those who collect things, buy-sell-trade or want to know what something is worth.

If you've got an item, someone here knows about it or may want to own it.
Insert a photo, comment about what you have or ask your question and see what you get.

If you have an item to buy-sell or trade with other planet members...do so at your own risk and level of trust.

Do you collect pocket knives, old toys, antiques............teach me.
My suggestion is that any transaction results in a small donation to the planet.

Gonzo has a few Montana cards, (including a rookie). The last time he checked Beckett, they were only worth around $20-$30.

Edit: You can check out their value here... http://www.beckett.com/search/#term=joe montana

I watched an entire table of baseball, hockey and football cards sell, a lot from the 90s, for less than $50. The same auction had entire tables of old wooden train, plane and ship models that went for that ballpark. I didn't have room or knowledge so I stayed away.

I have a bunch (500+) of Magic: the Gathering cards that I no longer use, stored in a box that I made with the WUBAR symbols burned into it. The cards are from 2010-ish.

Whaddya wanna trade for that? I'm into homebrewing items.

I also have an Evo 4G I'm trying to get rid of..

That's cool. It just sounds an awful lot like work to me.

I've spent enough time on junk ass equipment for 13 lifetimes. Old junk holds absolutely no nostalgic value for me. In fact, I wouldn't piss on an old tractor if it were on fire.

I'm a bit of a wanna be comic book geek. I was never into them as a kid really, it's something I discovered later in life. I don't care about the new stuff...

I love the art, and it'd be cool to see where this pop culture influence came from... in a physical form.

(Basically, I'd just love to buy a huge box of old comics cheap. And I'd read 'em)

That's probably on the high side. Cards from that era just aren't worth much, especially if less than perfect condition.

I think those are fishing lures, but you should probably check the internet.

I have a lot of old unique Chiefs merchandise that I really don't value much. I'd love to find a buyer for it but I happen to know a lot of it is quite valuable even with the current state of affairs. Also have an old Rolex I don't use and would like to find a buyer. About the only things I collect at this point are logo golf balls from courses I've played and cowboy artifacts for display in our living area. Pretty lame, I know.

Having the original boxes is paramount for collectable fishing lures.

Also, homemade "Folk Art" fishing lures can have some pretty good value.

Funny, my dog has the same interests and she’s asking for your number, just started howling out that Carly Rae Jepsen song too.
