That's the first time Geno lived up to his billing the times I tried to watch him. Jones was good too though. I think he put himself back in the first round pick QB with his performance tonight. He's got the biggest arm of the QBs this year from what I've seen. That was a fun game to watch for a QB starved Chiefs fan. When reality rears it's ugly head come draft day we'll all cry.....again.

The thing is...with Jamaal Charles back there, he would be lethal. When their RB got it going, Geno just beasted. Absolutely owned. His deep balls?

I want.

Smith and Austin. Plus Charles and a re-signed Albert and Bowe. Draft secondary and defensive line help in rounds 2-7. Combine that with a new GM and coach who want to make a fresh start on this team with a franchise QB in a good system.

If all this happens I will never have felt more positive about the direction of this franchise in a long long time.

I lean more towards Baldwin showing something in year 3 (traditionally not unusual for WR) with an actual NFL quarterback.

'course I'm not convinced they'll have an actual NFL QB next year. But I do think it would resolve a ton of woes for a ton of players on offense.
